The Qatar Olympic Committee tweeted on 31 May 2022, the victory of the Qatar national handball team who brought home the gold medal at the GCC games that took place in Kuwait.
They remained unbeaten throughout the games by winning all of the four matches they played and secured their hold on the gold medal on 31 May 2022.
The team received a grand welcome back to Qatar as winners on June 1, 2022.
