This is an exciting event for kids! The Museum of Islamic Art’s galleries are full of illustrations of birds but although they are closed, you can still see them online with the, in this workshop. Discover the Museum of Islamic Art’s (MIA) collection of bird illustrations. Look at the variety of birds in Islamic art, learn about their habitats and make a bird feeder to help the birds in Qatar survive the winter and encourage them to come to your space. Art lovers rejoice as a new exhibition has been unveiled! Ektashif – Turkey 2021 is an Art Exhibition by a group of Qatari Artists: Ali Al Kuwari, Muna Al Bader, Naeema Al Hail, Mashael Al Hejazi, Zainab Al Shibani, and Ahmed Al Ali, inspired by their trip to Turkey discovering important historical landmarks of Istanbul and traditional Islamic art techniques. Designers take note as a new and exciting program is here! For this year’s Zwara Program, M7 is looking to redefine the role of fashion in Qatar’s society. They are inviting emerging designers from all fields to explore and produce garments, textiles, or accessories, drawing inspiration from the exhibition as well as from local creatives and global design experts whom they will be exposed to during this program.
