Part of the Qatar-United States 2021 Year of Culture, Jeff Koons: Lost in America will be on view until 31 March 2022 at the QM Gallery Al Riwaq, the expansive exhibition space located in MIA Park. This is Koons’ first exhibition in the Gulf region, which will feature more than sixty artworks drawn from his four-decades-long career, including some of his most iconic pieces such as Rabbit (1986), Balloon Dog (Orange) (1994-2000), and Play-Doh (1994-2014).

Qatar Museums is hosting the POW! WOW! international mural festival in Doha! First time in the MENA region, the street art festival will see 12 local, regional and international artists add striking artworks to walls around the Al Sadd Metro Station. Love football? Get ready as The Paris Saint-Germain Ooredoo Qatar Cup will take place at The Pearl’s Temba Arena. The competition will operate as a round-robin across 13 days – each team consisting of 6 to 10 players max. The top teams will be determined by point accumulation in group play. All teams will play a minimum of 4 matches. The top 2 ranking teams of each group will qualify for the “Gold Phase”, while the bottom 2 ranking teams of each group will qualify for the “Silver Phase”.

A grand prize of QAR 20,000 will be presented to the champions immediately following the final match of the competition. The second-place team will be awarded a grand prize of QAR 5,000.

Have you heard of the acclaimed American artist and designer Virgil Abloh? Qatar Museums will present a retrospective of the artist at the Garage Gallery at Doha Fire Station. This will be the first museum exhibition of his work to be presented in the Middle East, Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech will be on view until 31 March 2022.
