The Qatar Meteorological Department announced in a tweet on June 8, 2022, that strong winds and dust are expected from Friday, June 10 2022, till the beginning of the following week.
They stated that fresh to strong winds with gusts of 38 KT causing blowing dust and dusty weather, also causing low horizontal visibility to 2 KM or less especially in open areas.
The sea waves are expected to rise to 5-8 FT rise to 13 FT at times.
