Al-Sadd and Al-Shamal teams are engaged in a strong confrontation within the fourth week of the QNB Stars League, which will be held at 7:30 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Khalifa International Stadium.

The result of the match and its points will be of a high degree of importance to the two teams, as Al Sadd seeks to continue the series of victories and reach the 12th point, while Al Shamal, motivated after achieving its first victory in the season against Qatar SC, will be keen to give its best to come out with a positive result against the defending champion.

Al Sadd has 9 points from 3 victories over Al Sailiya with two clean goals, then a 3-1 victory over Qatar SC, and finally a big win in the Qatar Clasico match against Al Rayyan 4-2. On the other hand, Al Shamal suffered a loss in the first two rounds against Al Gharafa and Al Sailiya. He scored his first victory in the season, which came against the Qatar team with two goals, to collect his first 3 points in the season after his promotion from the second division.

Al Sadd with coach Xavi Hernandez seeks to continue his victories, win his fourth victory and continue to compete for the lead with Al Duhail and suffers from many absences in light of the injuries that haunt its most prominent stars, but the team has substitutes who are able to compensate the injured players and provide a distinguished level.

On the other hand, Al Shamal team will be a tough and fierce competitor during the next confrontation in light of the readiness of most of the team’s elements, led by the Jordanian duo Baha Faisal, and the Iraqi newcomer Amjad Atwan.

Al-Shamal is looking forward to presenting a distinguished level in the Al-Sadd match, in light of the stability of the team members under the leadership of their Moroccan coach, Hicham Gedran.
