A video posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Qatar (MOFA) official Twitter account shows glimpses of efforts from the MOFA team as they visit the temporary housing facilities of Afghan guests, who are transiting Qatar to their final destinations.
The video shows smiles from the Afghan children’s faces as they receive special gifts from the MOFA team.
Qatar has facilitated the safe evacuation of thousands of people from Kabul to Doha. Most of the evacuees are transiting in Qatar, where they are hosted temporarily for a few days before departing on flights to their onward destinations.
