Instant noodles brand, “Indomie”, marked safe for human consumption

The Ministry of Public Health announced that the results of the laboratory tests of samples of the instant noodles brand “Indomie” displayed in the local market showed its safety and suitability for human consumption.

The ministry took samples from the instant noodles brand and referred them for laboratory analysis in the laboratories of the Ministry of Public Health as a precaution after news about the spices packed in Indomie being unable to produce the chicken and vegetable flavour circulated.

The ministry explains that all imported food products traded at outlets in the local market are subject to verification of health requirements to ensure their safety and conform to the approved standard specifications.
